The JBL Studio™ L Series L226W is a 2-way in-wall speaker for use in a wide variety of applications, from stereo and whole-house music systems to complete home theaters. Featuring an aluminum woofer and titanium-laminate tweeter to deliver accurate performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly realistic sound, the L226W also incorporates JBL's proprietary EOS waveguide to ensure smooth distribution of sound throughout the listening area. The tweeter level control allow for optimum high-frequency performance in any room and installation location. The white grilles and frames are paintable and allow the speakers to blend into any decor.

Detailed high frequency sound reproduction
A thin, but rigid, 1” pure titanium-laminate tweeter delivers accurate, clear, crisp high frequency response, even when the volume is cranked up. The swivel-mount tweeter gives you the freedom to direct the high frequencies wherever you like.
Sit-anywhere EOS™ Waveguide sound
Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) Waveguides, originally developed for JBL® Pro LSR studio monitors, disperse clean, high frequency sound more precisely across a wider listening area. There’s no “sweet spot.” Sit wherever you want.
Low profile and easy installation
With its space-saving design of only 3 9/16” mounting depth and weighing only 3.5 lbs, you have maximum flexibility. The L226W includes a cutting template and integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications. Rough-in frames are available for new construction.
Paint the frame and grille to match your walls
Both the frame and grille can be painted to blend into your walls. The JBL® L226W is unobtrusive – until you turn it on.
