The HQ2 Vibration Stereophone features two elements: a vibration element for tactile movement of the headphone and a dynamic element for stereo sound reproduction. To make a virtual game come to life, the vibration element translates frequencies below 100 Hz into vibrations, creating a "moving" experience. For increased vibration when the action is at its peak, a thumb wheel control on the left earcup provides easy vibration level adjustment. An ON/OFF switch allows the user to listen to the same high quality sound with or without the vibration.
In addition to the vibration element, the HQ2 features a 1 mil. thick mylar diaphragm and neodymium iron boron magnet structures to deliver a full range of deep bass and treble clarity for a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hz. Oxygen free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for a Sound of Koss that is clean and clear. Closed, leatherette ear cushions seal around the ear maximizing isolation and impressive bass performance.
